The Le Tour of Langkawi is a 2.HC Stage road races like Paris tours, Tour of Turkey, Tours of Utah, etc.
This year is the 23rd edition since the first in 1996.
Le Tour de Langkawi 2018, Stage 5 starts from Bentong to Raub, and finish in Cameron Highland

Before taking the pictures above, I already scouted for the place that shows the best angle to represent Raub.
So, I chose a corner beside Ratha Restaurant that gives a "Pusat Perniagaan Raub" background.

The roads in Raub were closed at 11:30am and spectators started to line the roads.
I waited for 45 minutes in the hot sun, when riders arrived at 12:20pm. With just a few seconds of photo opportunities, I shot in a high-speed burst mode that I usually did in bird
photography. The camera can't keep, and 'busy' writing to CF card. I wish to have a 7D Mark II with that 9.5 frame/sec shutter speed and a bigger buffer size. Anyway, I'm satisfied with the result.
