Kayuhan Solo Hari Merdeka ke 63 di Temerloh

 Solo ride at Temerloh - Happy Malaysia Independence Day

Kayuhan solo di bandar Temerloh sempena cuti Hari Merdeka.

Saya asal dari Temerloh, tapi tak pernah lalu jalan ke Bangau Tanjung/Lubuk Kawah,  jadi saya search google map dan rancang perjalanan saya malam sebelum kayuhan.

Bertolak dari rumah pada jam 7:40 pagi, menuju ke tapak Pekan Sari Temerloh, bergambar sekejap.

Lalu ke  tepian Sungai Pahang untuk gambar pemandangan pagi berlatar belakang "TEMERLOH"

Selepas Hotel Sri Malaysia belok ke kanan melalui jambatan merentas Sungai Semantan, kemudian kayuhan ke timur-laut (jalan Bkt. Tingkat C119 )  ke Kg. Bangau, menyusuri Sg. Pahang, laluan port-port patin popular seperti Kancil Raja Patin, Patin Madu, Warung Cendol Fancy, dll.. Jalan tak sibuk dipagi hari.

Selepas berkayuh lebih kurang 8km, belok ke kiri saya sampai di Kg. Lubuk Kawah. 

Seterusnya ke Kg. Bukit Tingkat, yang menyajikan  bukit landai 2%

Sampai di Kg. Raja belok kiri  ke jalan Temerloh-Jerantut (98), melalui Kg. Lompat, Kg Megat Segama.

Seterusnya turun ke Taman Sri Semantan, Songsang  ke kiri Jalan Mentakab - Temerloh (87)

Kelihatan satu kumpulan MTB riders menghala ke  Jerantut, juga bertemu seorang pemuda menunggang classic vintage road bike, matching leather seat dengan handle bar tape.

Kg. Batu Satu, kelihatan menara Masjid Ubudiah di belakang sana.

Sampai di rumah jam 8:45pagi. Distance 21.23km (+ keliling Taman), Elevation gain 88m

After 8 years of using a dumb M1 JetBlack magnetic turbo-trainer,   finally upgraded to the smart one.
I ordered the unit from Ligamas Cycle Sdn Bhd, and it takes 17 days to arrive.

Very-very quiet, the only noise is coming from the cassette and chain, so I can train in the living room in front of the big television.
The Zwist software is running on my son's gaming desktop PC, with AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Quad-Core Processor 3.20 GHz, RAM 16.0 GB,  and upgraded graphic card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX  1060 3GB with two the fan cooling system. Using an HDMI cable, I connect it to the Panasonic Plasma TV 42".

Wahoo Kicker Core is in the middle of the Wahoo lineup, so it did not include the cassette, which is good for me.

Using cap Ayam cassette cogs removal and installation tools, I installed an SRAM PG1070 10-speed cassette (11-26T), since my groupset is an old 10-speed SRAM Red. 

You need to insert a spacer (supplied),  because the Kickr core come with an 11-speed hub.

Using a Magene ANT+ dongle with three three-meter USB extension cables, the Zwift software can detect the Kickr Core easily.

Kickr Core paired with three parameters - power, cadence and resistance (controllable) using the new ANT+  FE-C (Fitness Equipment Control) protocol.

With the old dumb trainer, I install a Garmin speed sensor to the rear wheel hub.
I can't believe that I got this megawatt. Maybe the trainer lost contact with the tyre, and paddle with a crazy spin, so Zwift calculates to that very high watt power. Maybe that I'm really powerful ;)
