Old and new - First Test Ride

I have the first test of the new MTB this morning. Started at 7.15am in drizzling morning rain to the Raub Gold Course (my usual birding site - not for birding this time).
Impress with the smooth gear changes, brake response, and general handling. The only problem now is my stamina. Not yet ready for a group night ride! ;)
Ride log summary (from Cateye Wireless+ Cyclometer).

Distance = 10.47km, Average Speed=18.7km/h, Max Speed=32.4km.h, Time=33.2 min.

Old 'Silver-Fox MTBBasikal Gunung 'Silver-Fox' warna kuning tu saya beli untuk anak sulung 8 tahun lalu, semasa dia ditingkatan 2 (sekarang dah ditahun 3 universiti).
Memeram di garaj selama 5 tahun tak dipedulikan sesiapa. Berkarat, tayar pancit dan menjadi sarang lelabah dan angkut-angkut.
Baru ini saya tiba-tiba berminat kat basikal tua ni. Kenapa?.

Saya baik pulih basikal Silver-Fox tu.
